Taco Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
2 c. tortilla chips
1/2 c. green onions, chopped
1 c. grated Cheddar
1 (15 oz.) can chili beans
2 Tbsp. taco sauce
1 Tbsp. garlic salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tomato, chopped
Preparation

Cook ground beef in 10-inch skillet until brown.
Drain.
Stir in beans, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder and garlic salt. Heat to boiling.
Coarsely break chips and place in ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
Top with beef mixture, spread sour cream. Sprinkle onions, tomatoes and cheese.
Cook, uncovered, in 350\u00b0 oven until hot and bubbly, 20 to 30 minutes.
Arrange additional tortilla chips around edge of casserole.
Serve with shredded lettuce, chili peppers and taco sauce.
Yields 6 servings.
