Gravy-Baked Pork Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork steaks (1/2 inch thick)
    10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. cream
    1/3 c. water
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.
    Brown in shortening in large iron skillet; drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients.
    Pour around chops.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 45 minutes or until tender.
    Stir gravy.
    Makes 4 servings.
