Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pork sausage
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch celery, chopped
1 c. rice
2 pkg. chicken noodle soup
5 c. boiling water
1 pkg. bread croutons or loaf bread, toasted
Preparation

Fry sausage.
Drain off fat.
Mix onion, bell pepper and celery.
Saute with sausage.
Mix rice, soup mix and water. Bring to a boil.
Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
Add sausage, onion, bell pepper and celery to rice and soup mix.
Cover with plain toasted croutons.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 casseroles.
May use beef.
