7 Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1 c. celery, diced
4 eggs, hard-boiled and sliced
1 (10 oz.) pkg. uncooked frozen peas
1/2 c. green peppers, diced
1 sweet onion, diced
8 slices bacon
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Tear the cleaned, crispy lettuce into bite-size pieces; place in glass bowl.
Layer rest of the ingredients in order given.
Add sugar to the mayonnaise and spread over the top as you would frosting.
Top with grated cheese.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.
At serving time, garnish with parsley and croutons. Diced ham may also be added, if desired.
