Bird'S Nest(A Recipe From Belgium) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
    2 c. bread crumbs
    2 egg whites, beaten until foamy
    2 c. tomato sauce
    oil
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients. Divide into 6 portions. Flatten and shape meat mixture around boiled eggs. Dip meat coated eggs into egg whites and bread crumbs. Deep-fry in hot oil until brown and crusty, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from oil and drain. Cut crosswise for 2 round nests. Spoon tomato sauce around nests. Makes 12 servings.
