Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 chickens
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. chopped almonds
    2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    4 c. celery, diced
    4 large apples, unpeeled, but chopped
    3 c. mayonnaise or as much as needed to make a moist dressing
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Simmer chickens with salt until tender.
    Bone and chop fine. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Chill.
    Serve on a lettuce leaf with green stuffed olives and small whole dill pickles.
