Butter Baked Chicken And Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 pieces chicken
    1 1/4 c. Pet milk
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. water
    1 can cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Dip chicken pieces into 1/2 cup Pet milk.
    Roll pieces in flour, salt and pepper.
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Put chicken, skin side down.
    Bake, uncovered, near center of 425\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Turn chicken over.
    Pour mixture of 1 can cream of chicken soup, 3/4 cup Pet milk and 1/4 cup water over chicken.
    Bake 30 minutes longer, or until drumstick is tender when pierced.
    Place chicken on serving dish.
    Stir gravy well and serve with chicken over mashed potatoes.
    Serves 6.
