Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 whole eggs
4 egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 jigger rum
Preparation

Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon colored.
Add sugar, butter and rum; continue to beat.
Fold in flour and knead until the dough blisters.
Transfer to a well floured board and knead.
Cut in half and roll very thin.
Cut into strips, about 4-inches long.
Slit each piece in center and pull one end through the slit.
Fry in hot fat (Crisco) until lightly browned.
Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
