Sweet And Sour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2 lb. stewing beef
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. barbecue sauce, blended with catsup
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped onion
    6 large carrots, peeled and cut into pieces
Preparation
    Coat meat with flour, salt and pepper. Brown in bacon drippings. Combine water, sauces, brown sugar, vinegar and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir into browned meat. Add onion.
    Cover and cook over low heat about 45 minutes. Add carrots and cook 45 minutes longer or until tender. Can be cooked in Dutch oven in oven at 350\u00b0.
