Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 heaping Tbsp. strawberry jello
    2 qt. strawberries
    1 pie crust, baked and cooled
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Heat sugar, water and cornstarch until clear, stirring all the time. Add jello. Cool. Clean and halve strawberries.
    Fold into cooled jello mixture.
    Spoon into pie crust and refrigerate until set.
    Serve topped with Cool Whip.
