"Tabooley" - Wheat Garden Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cracked wheat, fine
2 large bunches parsley
1/2 bunch mint (fresh), chopped fine
4 large tomatoes (solid)
juice of 1 large lemon
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Soak wheat in cold water for 45 minutes.
Change water several times.
Use sieve; press to squeeze dry.
Chop parsley, mint leaves and tomatoes very fine.
Add wheat, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Serve with fresh lettuce leaves or serve in pita bread.
Serves 6.
