Nutty Tuna-Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. medium noodles
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 1/3 c. milk
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    3/4 c. shredded American cheese (3 oz.)
    1 (12 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained and flaked
    1 (8 oz.) can peas and carrots, drained
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    1/2 c. chopped peanuts
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain well. Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt the butter or margarine; stir in flour.
    Add the milk and soup all at once.
    Cook until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
    Remove the soup mixture from heat; stir in American cheese until melted.
    Stir in tuna, peas and carrots and pimiento into soup mixture.
    Fold in noodles.
    Turn the soup-tuna mixture into a 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle the chopped peanuts atop.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until mixture is heated through.
    Makes 6 servings.
