Grandmother'S Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1 c. oatmeal
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 to 6 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Soften yeast; combine next 5 ingredients.
    Cool.
    Stir in 2 cups flour, beat.
    Add eggs and yeast, flour to make soft.
    Rest for 10 minutes; knead.
    Let rise until double in bulk.
    Divide in 1/2 or make into rolls.
    Bake at 370\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    I let it rise twice before I put it into pans, kneading it again.
