Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes(Quick And Easy Version) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. oil
    4 c. Gold Medal all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Drop dough about the size of a walnut onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press flat with the bottom of a glass that has been coated with sugar. (Dampen bottom of a glass so sugar will stick to it better.
    If you use a glass that has a design on the bottom, your cookies will have a pretty design on them.)
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 11 minutes or until lightly brown.
