Yeast Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 pkg. dry yeast, melted in 3/4 c. warm water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Sift flour and soda and mix in sugar. Add shortening, buttermilk and yeast and mix as you do any other biscuits.
    Dip out a heaping tablespoonful.
    Flour hands well before rolling each biscuit.
    Lay on biscuit pan and pat lightly. Don't mash.
    After you have biscuits on pan, set on top of stove for 10 minutes to let rise.
    Cook in 400\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
