Brazil Nut Caramels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. light cream
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. or more (if desired) cut Brazil nuts
Preparation
    Cook 1/2 cup sugar in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar turns light brown.
