Mom'S Apple Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
2 c. finely chopped apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt the butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
In a saucepan, heat sugar and water until sugar melts.
Cut shortening into flour.
Add milk and stir only until dough leaves the sides of the bowl.
Turn out onto lightly floured surface.
Knead just until smooth.
Roll dough out into a large rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
Sprinkle cinnamon over apples, then sprinkle apples over the dough.
Roll and slice.
Place in pan with melted margarine.
Pour sugar syrup around rolls.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
