Skinny Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground meat
    2 qt. water
    4 bouillon cubes
    5 potatoes, peeled and cubed
    5 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 onions, chopped
    1 c. barley
    1/2 c. rice
    1 (46 oz.) can V-8 juice
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
    celery salt (sprinkle)
    garlic salt (sprinkle)
    1/4 c. parsley flakes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown meat and set aside.
    In large pot, put water and bouillon cubes.
    Add potatoes, carrots, onions, barley, rice, juice and tomatoes.
    Cook 15 minutes.
    Add all remaining ingredients, including meat, and cook 45 minutes longer.
