Wilted Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 bacon slices
1 large head leaf or Boston lettuce
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
dash of pepper
Preparation

About 30 minutes before serving:
In large skillet over medium heat, fry bacon slices until crisp.
Drain on paper towels. Discard all but 1/4 cup bacon drippings from skillet.
