Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1/2 c. onions, diced
    2 c. celery
    1 lb. veal, cubed
    1 lb. pork, cubed
    1 can bean sprouts
    1 can dry noodles
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Melt fat in Dutch oven.
    Add meat, onions and fry until brown. Add salt, pepper and water.
    Cook 1 hour.
    Add celery and cook 30 minutes more.
    Make thickening of flour, sugar and soy sauce.
    Add 2 tablespoons water.
    Add to meat mixture and cook until thickened.
    Add drained beans and sprouts.
    Serve on cooked rice (drained).
    Top with noodles.
