Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 pt. ripe strawberries
1 c. boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
red food coloring

Preparation

Combine the sugar, boiling water, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, stir in 2 tablespoons jello and a few drops food coloring. Cool thoroughly.
