Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
2/3 c. buttermilk
1 medium chopped onion

Preparation

Mix all.
Drop by teaspoon into hot, deep fat.
