Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. boiling water
2 1/2 c. unsifted unbleached flour
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Combine
first
seven
ingredients then stir in boiling water. Add
flour
and mix.
Dissolve baking soda in 2 tablespoons hot water,
add
to
batter.
Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake
30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Yield 9 servings. Approximately 350 calories per serving.
