Low-Fat Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 rounded tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    3 stalks celery
    1/2 green or red pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle cabbage with salt; let stand an hour.
    Boil sugar, vinegar and water for a minute; let cool.
    Mix ingredients. Freeze if you don't wish to use until later.
