Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. dry strawberry jello
    few drops red food coloring
    1 qt. sliced strawberries
    1 baked pie shell
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar.
    Pour into boiling water.
    Stir until full rolling boil.
    Add jello and food coloring.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Keep in refrigerator until consistency of egg whites. Pour sliced strawberries into baked pie shell.
    Pour glaze over berries.
    Chill.
    Top each slice with Cool Whip just before serving.
