Chateau Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. mashed potatoes
    3/4 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    melted butter
    3 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, cottage cheese, sour cream, onions, salt and pepper in mixer until smooth.
    Place in 2 1/2-quart casserole. Cover top with melted butter and almonds, if desired.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8.
