Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs (reserve 1 white)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2/3 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream
    together
    shortening
    and
    sugar.
    Add egg.
    Add flour and
    baking
    powder.
    Spread
    in an 8-inch pan, greased. Beat egg white
    until
    soft peaks form and add brown sugar and coconut. Spread over batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
