Date-Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
4 eggs, separated
3/4 c. milk
2 unbaked 9-inch pastry shells
Preparation

Combine dates, pecans and flour; stir well and set aside. Combine sugar, butter, vanilla and salt in a large mixing bowl; mix well.
Add egg yolks and milk, mixing well.
Stir in pecans and dates.
