Pickled Daikon "Japanese Radish" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. sliced Daikon
    3/4 c. rice wine vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. Hawaiian rock salt
    1 Hawaiian red pepper
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper until sugar melts.
    Cool mixture and pour over sliced Daikon and let sit 1 hour and refrigerate.
