Snow White Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. powdered sugar
7 Tbsp. hot water
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
pinch of salt for flavor
1 egg white (unbeaten)

Preparation

Dissolve sugar and hot water in pan.
Boil 1 minute.
Add to egg, cream of tartar and flavoring in a bowl.
Beat at high speed until stiff.
