Kentucky Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs, divided
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. hot water
8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained and reserving juice
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix together flour, sugar and oil well.
To this mixture, add egg yolks, cinnamon, water, pineapple and nuts.
Blend well.
Add egg whites and blend.
Grease and flour tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1
hour and 10 minutes.
After removing cake from pan, mix pineapple juice and 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
Spoon over hot cake.
