Bacon Hot Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bacon
3/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. sugar
6 c. finely shredded cabbage
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Dice bacon and cook slowly until crisp.
Pour off half the drippings.
Add other ingredients to remaining drippings and heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until cabbage is hot and well coated with sauce.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cabbage should be crisp.
Drain off liquid before serving.
Serves 6.
