Gold Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. onion
    1/2 c. celery
    3 c. potatoes
    3 c. milk
    1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    parsley sprigs
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 3-quart saucepan.
    Saute onion and celery until tender, about 3 minutes.
    Stir in potatoes, milk, corn and pepper.
    Heat to serving temperature.
    Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
    (If necessary, return to fire to finish melting cheese, but don't boil.) Serve immediately.
    Yields 8 cups.
