Nacho Beef Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground meat
1 (16 oz.) jar Pace picante sauce (mild)
15 1/2 oz. can yellow hominy, drained
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 to 3/4 c. water
2 c. tortilla chips nacho cheese flavored, broken into pieces (not crushed)
2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese (medium)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Brown ground meat in a small amount of butter or margarine.
Drain grease.
Stir into ground meat the picante sauce, hominy, chili powder and water.
In an 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch Pyrex dish, layer 1/2 of meat mixture, chips and cheese; repeat layer.
Bake 20 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven or until bubbly and thoroughly heated.
Makes about 6 servings.
