Cranberry Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. vanilla wafers
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. ground, raw apples, peeled
    1 c. ground, raw cranberries
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation
    Grind wafers to fine crumbs.
    Spread half of crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg and beat until creamy.
    Spread creamed mixture over crumbs to edge of pan. Combine fruits and granulated sugar.
    Let stand 20 minutes. Spread over creamed mixture.
    Cover fruit with whipped cream.
    Top with rest of vanilla wafer crumbs.
    Chill 12 to 24 hours.
    Serves 24.
