Peaches And Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. butter flavor cake mix (make 2 layers)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 c. chopped fresh peaches
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. whipping cream or Cool Whip
    2 or 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    fresh sliced peaches
Preparation
    Mix and bake 2 cake layers as directed on box.
    Cool layers; split each layer.
    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan. Add peaches and water; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
    Cool mixture completely.
