Pickled Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. water
    1 head chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
Preparation
    Heat on stove the vinegar, water and sugar until sugar dissolves.
    Add celery seed.
    Let cool.
    Pour over cabbage and green bell pepper.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Serve.
