Imperial Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. vegetable oil
6 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation

Sift flour once, then measure 3 cups flour.
Add salt and baking powder; sift again.
Set aside.
Cream shortening and oil with sugar.
Add eggs to shortening mixture, one at a time. Alternately mix in flour and milk.
Add flavorings and mix well. Pour in a lightly greased and floured cake pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 80 minutes.
