Jordan'S Cherry Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (16 oz.) cherries, chopped, drain juice and save
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar together.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly.
    Add milk; beat well.
    Then add flour and baking powder.
    Add flavoring and chopped cherries.
    Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Pour juice over cool cake.
