Jellied Beet Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. can diced beets
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange and lemon jello
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. celery, chopped or sliced thin
1 Tbsp. horseradish
1 dash hot sauce
1/2 c. crushed pineapple
1 Tbsp. minced onion
Preparation

Drain beets.
Measure liquid and add enough cold water to make 3/4 cup.
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
Add beet liquid, vinegar, horseradish, pepper sauce and minced onion.
Chill until thick.
Fold in beets, celery and pineapple.
You can mold as a sheet or in 8 individual molds.
Serves 8.
