Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. salt
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Preparation

Combine first five ingredients in a 3-quart glass bowl or casserole.
Microwave (High setting) 5 minutes.
Stir well. Microwave 9 minutes more, or until mixture reaches 260\u00b0 (hard ball stage) on a candy thermometer.
Do not stir corn mixture.
