Yellow Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour or cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
3 eggs
2 1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) round cake pans or cupcakes.
In a large bowl, measure all ingredients with mixer at low speed.
Mix well, constantly scraping bowl with rubber spatula.
(You may increase the speed to medium.)
Pour into pan.
Bake 25 minutes or when toothpick is dry (cupcake* 20 minutes).
Cool on wire racks.
