Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 1/2 c. sugar
 
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. raw shelled peanuts
Preparation
- 
                            Bring to a rolling boil the sugar, syrup and water.
 
Slowly add peanuts, keeping a rolling boil until peanuts pop and brown (hard crack stage, 290\u00b0).
Remove from heat.
Add soda and salt. Pour onto a foil lined cookie sheet.
