Autumn Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 thick pork chops
1 medium red onion, sliced thin (or chopped)
1 clove garlic, minced
5 c. shredded red cabbage
1 1/2 c. cored, chopped apple
1/2 c. apple juice or cider
3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
1 bay leaf
black pepper
Preparation

Trim fat from chops, then brown both sides.
Remove from skillet.
Add onions and garlic, cooking until tender.
Add cabbage, apple, apple juice, vinegar, bay leaf and pepper.
Toss well.
Add the browned chops, arranging over the top.
Cover skillet and cook 20 to 30 minutes on low heat.
