Porcupines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    chopped onion (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pt. tomato sauce or tomatoes or tomato juice
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except tomatoes, and form into balls. Brown in skillet.
    Add tomato sauce.
    Cover and cook at low temperature until rice is done (about 1 1/2 hours).
