Cherry Berry Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pkg. frozen red raspberries, or 1 1/2 c. fresh raspberries
    24 oz. can frozen lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
    lime slices (optional)
    1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries, or 2 c. fresh pitted dark sweet cherries
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
Preparation
    Thaw frozen
    fruit; do not drain.
    Place raspberries in a blender
    container\tand
    blend
    until
    smooth.
    Strain
    and discard seeds.
    Transfer
    strained\tberries
    to
    medium mixing bowl.
    Place cherries in blender, add apple juice concentrate. Cover and blend
    until
    smooth.
    Combine the berries in mixing bowl.
    Transfer
    fruit
    mixture
    to freezing container.
    Cover and freeze
    overnight\tor
    up to 2 months.
    For each 10 ounce serving,
    scrape
    spoon
    across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 3/4 cup into chilled 10 ounce tumbler.
    Slowly pour in 4 ounces
    of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage.
    Stir gently to mix.
    Garnish with lime slice, if desired.
