Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe

1 lb. butter
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1 lb. white confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar until well blended.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour, beating well (at least 10 minutes).
Bake for 1 hour or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
