Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. oats
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts or raisins

Preparation

Cream the shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, vanilla and dry ingredients.
Stir in oats and nuts.
Shape into rolls and freeze until ready to bake. Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
