Ice Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. coconut
    2 1/2 c. crushed Rice Krispies
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sliced almonds
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Mix sugar, coconut and Rice Krispies.
    Brown butter and almonds in skillet.
    Pour over dry ingredients.
    Put half of this mixture in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Spread 1/2 gallon softened vanilla ice cream over crumbs.
    Spread rest of crumbs on top of ice cream.
    Cover tightly and freeze.
