Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Stir together all dry ingredients; add liquid ingredients and mix well just until the dough clings together.
    Knead gently on a lightly floured surface 10 to 12 strokes; roll or pat to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with a biscuit cutter, dipping flour in between cuts; place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
    Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
